Cosy Corner

Nestled under the south side of Cape Byron headland you will find this calm oasis. A favorite amongst local surfers it offers a clean decent size wave when the northerlies are blowing through the dunes elsewhere. Partially protected from the winds these sheltered sands are encased by a rugged tropical setting. You feel somewhat like you have landed on a shipwreck island, the only reminder that you are conveniently close to town are the adventurous hang gliders soaring overhead.
