Byron Bay is the gateway to some of the most magnificent natural creations. During your stay at Atlantic, we can recommend some of the beautiful day trips to explore the hinterland and coastal areas surrounding Byron Bay. If you are a lover of nature, an explorer of life and a straight up adventurer you will loose yourself in these incredible untouched and protected habitats.
A Marine Park exploding with life, suspended walkways and bridges swaying above the treetops, a sleeping volcano reaching for the stars and a century old lighthouse now an iconic symbol are a few of the interesting facts that make these parks and reserves incredibly unique and completely fascinating.
Pristine beaches, rugged headlands, ancient rainforests, magnificent waterfalls, bubbling creeks and rocky shores make a scenic drive or nature walk a must. If you want to get to know the local inhabitants and feel the earth beneath you, camp under a canopy of stars and listen to the sounds of the wildlife. Protected and heritage listed, these reserves and parks are steeped in history, culture and spiritual folklore. There is a story to be told and listened too.

For the next 5 days only…….. Atlantic Byron Bay has the most amazing Pop Up Shop with Surf Bazaar & Samudra.
Surf Bazaar was conceived of in Montauk, NY and launched in May of 2010 with their first bazaar and collection at The Surf Lodge. They carry a well-edited collection of clothing and accessories that you want to have at the beach, yet is relevant and wearable in every day lives. The focus is on beachwear that is progressive in cut, proportion and design. They also create a collection of essential clothing and accessories that truly conveys our love of bright color, natural texture, and simple yet flattering shapes.
Their label is inspired by Tibetan prayer flags, in which each flag is a color that represents an element. The Surf Bazaar flags represent elements that inspire them : blue is for water, fluorescent orange is Sunset; fluorescent pink is Flora; grey is Earth…they hang the flags in their clothing, as well as in the bazaar, as a reminder to add soul into everything they do.
We continue to push our own creativity, and to connect with those inspired people who contribute to an aesthetic value that reflects the beauty we see in Montauk, and beaches everywhere.
We are so excited to have them arrive in Byron Bay …….seriously amazing Acacia Swimwear is being unpacked as we speak!!! Beautiful bags and pouches from Samudra and so much more.
